Is it just me or are the animation a little bit over the edge? I mean, a bloodfountain from a rock?
I understand this should compell necromancers to get it but even though it’s my favourite class of choise I still don’t feel like it fit’s even those characters

Is it available for a limited time like the last 3 harvesting tools, or is it a permanently added item to the TP? Will I have time to farm gold for it, or is this another now-or-never item?

I bought the last 3 tools for 25g~, and now it is roughly 42g~. Inflation delays my speed and I want to be able to buy this for an alt. I can’t find anything that says it’s temporary but these things tend to be.

I would love to drop money on this but my necro the character i want it for has already gotten the molten alliance pick. Cant see myself Destroying 30 gold to spend 30 gold on something i already bought for 5 other characters. Would be nice to have an option to update the skin i already own or a way to move this Molten pick to another toon and by this bone one for my necro. Can we Unsoulbound the Pics/Axes/Harvesters if you are gonna be releasing a new skin/animation for it every 6 months. Would be so nice to use this on my necro as i said but already purchased 5 moltens the last time round!

Well, since so many seem to have a bone to pick with Anet about all the various problems and misconceived additions with the game (ya I know they have positive kudos too)—-they really had to make one.

Is it blood? I only saw the video and it looked black. I was not sure what it was doing honestly.

Some described it as an oil fountain—not blood. Anet could have made it blood red—but since you are mining—it’s oil not blood.

Is there any gathering difference between them because of their different rarity?

Since the others came and went that this too will be for a limited time only. Of course you want something more official so check everyday and see if it changes to “limited time left”.

One can only figure they’ll release the other pieces but I don’t think there’s been any official word on the other ones yet.

Please tell me you aren’t buying gems, turning them into gold, trading that gold for gems, then buying the tools.

I am VERY interested in permanent gathering tools, will happily buy gems for them. However I wasn’t playing when the last ones were released and honestly I just plain don’t like the animation for this one. Option for the other animations too, please?

I would say that we should assume this is a limited time item. The other tools were, I expect this one to be as well.

The limited time offer tools might be a fairly obvious sales ploy to some of us but it’s also reasonable that Arenanet look for ways to make money from micro transactions and sustain development as well as pay for maintaining the game.
