I was under the impression that the discounts would end this weeks reset, does this mean the skins are going to be permanently 1 ticket each?

The website says they are getting their price raised in 2 weeks.

Just in time for the wardrobe patch to hit, lol. Sneaky timing.

This always happens when they roll over the BL weapon skins – nothing sneaky about it and they are giving fair warning.

I bought the GreatSword and was a little regretful at how it looked on my Guardian – I was very happy to hear about the wardrobe system so I’ll be able to use that skin on my other characters.

I decided to get the Shield too.

I’m glad it’s been this cheap this long, managed to get my Warrior the Axe/Mace/Sword/Warhorn/Shield/Longbow/Spear all for cheap since people have had so long to pick these up. With the Wardrobe, I’ll even be able to dual wield them and move some to other applicable characters.

(And yes, the Greatsword looks way too fat comparatively, I much prefer my Fellblade with this set)

Taking advantage of this flatline in pricing at the moment, I managed to pick up the focus, torch, staff, pistol, and spear (best looking spear in the game IMO) for decent prices on buy orders. I’m not stocking up, as I don’t like to risk speculation on higher-value items, but I did get the ones I wanted because I knew I’d kick myself later if the price went up. Glad I waited on some of them as the prices have been in a slow decline the longer they’ve been available as one ticket.

Will we still be able to buy/sell (on the TP) gemstore skins after the patch?

I haven’t heard any word from ANet that they are removing that functionality, so I would presume so.
