Trading Post: Armor Weight Filter!
Yes yes yes. Please add armor weight filter! I’m soooo sick of searching through pages of stuff for what I want.

Such a small thing would make so many players happy! lol
THIS TO THE NTH DEGREE! Do you know how annoying it is to look for a certain armor type and get an ocean of weight types you don’t need? This would be a massive quality of life change.
PvE Main – Zar Poisonclaw – Daredevil
WvW Main – Ghost Mistcaller – Herald

I do know, we all do! Puh puh puh leeeeeeze Anet!
Yes! Please Anet it would be great if you added this feature.
I feel this is the only thing you can truly say that “I think I speak for all players” and have it be true.
But true it is.
I was actually surprised it wasn’t in the first feature pack. It’s something that benefits literally every player in the game. I’d have thought they’d want that in before the China launch too.
Yeeeeeeeessss pleeeeaaaaassseeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve always been surprised – and dismayed – that such a basic ‘first step’ filter is lacking. To begin with I thought I’d been on the stupid pills and just couldn’t see where it was. I can never quite believe it somehow, it’s just such a baffling omission. And annoying. Very, very annoying.
Agreed. This feature is long overdue, and I too have always been utterly baffled by it not being there from the word go, because it’s such a basic and logical thing.
This would make my life in game that much better when hunting for armor.
Totally agree as we’ve been asking for this for too long.
anet is too lazy to code it…
I really dont know how did that thing not entered in their brain when they were making auction house.
Maybe they will add it in 6 months and announce it as something big and incredible.
Its really disappointing not to have logical stuff in game.

and then fanboys/white knights will add it to the permanent content list xD
Noone does not want this. +1
This should be snuck in as a ninja update in an upcoming patch, if I were Anet I would be embarassed to acknowledge fixing this design slight…

That’s too sensible for ArenaNet to implement.
Yes we definitely could use this!
Though I doubt anet will implement this anytime soon.

The game is almost 2 years old! Only what… 2 months left? I think I speak for the whole community when I say this features has been missing for too long.
The cheers of glee that would be made if this feature finally added! The deepest sleeping Elder Dragon would hear us like the Grinch heard the Who’s in Whoville!
That had occurred to me too. Along similar lines I’d like to propose a “can equip/use filter” which automatically filters out anything that can’t be used by the current character.

I just saw the title. My response:
KITTEN YES GIVE ME FILTER.

Cant you just put in the name? Draconic is Heavy, Emblazoned is Medium, and Exalted is Light they means the same things just by different names. The ideal of needing an added means of braking the gear up seems redundant.
Guild : OBEY (The Legacy) I call it Obay , TLC (WvW) , UNIV (other)
Server : FA

Or you can just know what armor your searching for….For instance.
Berzerkers>Armor>Head= 3 Berserk helmets.
Is just incredible that after 2 years they didn’t implement this.
For real, why the kitten was not even since day 1?
and when they add the filter totally revamp the TP. I’d like to suggest that you invite players that actually use the TP to give input.
For 7 years we waited for a TP/Auction House in GW1 and in GW2 we get a clunky cumbersome unreliable shadow of what could have been. Yes it does work, but so does opening a can with a hammer.
Seems the main issue right now is that the Trading Post in question is not the Chinese one.
Sometimes I wonder if we’re ever going to see work done on our version of Tyria ever again.

We all understand there are work-arounds, as we have all been doing them for almost 2 years, but just because there is doesn’t mean that the filter isn’t appropriate or needed. A man with no legs could pull himself around with his arms, or someone could get him a wheelchair
you see? And using the draconic = heavy method does not work for every level, only the level 80 exotics and level 80’s aren’t the only players in the game.
