Guild Wars 2

I have never been able to view the trading post since day one. I have a support ticket created, have done everything that was suggested but it still does not work. All I see is a blank screen. Every once in awhile I might get the trying to load option, but then it goes poof/gone. I have attached the gameadvisor report, speccy report and hijack report to my support ticket but have not heard from anyone in support as of 9/16/12. Is anyone out there?

I think you are pretty much alone on that one.

You mean I am the only one who cannot see the Trading Post?

i cant buy anything the screen is always black in the buying tab!!!

My friends and I all have that problem as well, have not been able to use or see the trading post since day one as well. You are not alone.

Saw this in another post. (While we understand the want for P2P trading, we feel that the Trading Post works well for accomplishing fair deals and keeping individual users protected from those with less-than-pure-intentions.

It would be alright if EVERYONE could access the Trading Company. The above reply, I suppose from a GM. Fix the doggone Trading Company function. I played Aion and WoW and never had a problem with their Auction House/Trading Post. I love GW2, it is one of the most fantastic games ever, but fix the doggone Trading Company

Still getting black screen when I try to access the Trading Post.

In another post (i can’t find it atm) there is hope (confirmed today by another person) have the TP open and hit esc to bring up the menu, swap languages and then back to fix this.

Remove your proxy. Solved the problem for me

It is worth noting that the TP isn’t really part of the game, it’s a web-based database.

That’s why sites like http://www.gw2spidy.com can access the data.

As such, you may find it is treated as a different connection by your firewall / proxy / etc.

I have no idea what a proxy is, where to find it, or how to remove it.

@Ryu, when I hit escape TP disappears, no menu pops up. I think maybe Ryu was pulling my leg.
