It’s getting old that the trading post down again.

Sadly, since launch, I actually think it’s been down more than it’s been up.

Before I was impressed that they were keeping players informed, now it seems they have gotten in the habit of keeping us in the dark about what’s being done about this issue.

Needless to say, the game should never have been released if major components of it wasn’t working properly.

I’m starting to feel that the money I spent for this game wasn’t worth it at this time.

It was down at launch because there was a flaw in the system. I agree that they have been less open about letting us know about things, but your post came at 11pm company time on a Friday, meaning they may not have much customer support readily available.

The TP is a feature, not a component. The TP not working does not break the game.

People complain too much when things go down for any length of time. Even WoW had major problems at release, and people still were paying a subscription fee despite of it. Your financial commitment to this game is already done.

A feature of the game is a component of it.

You’re right about it not breaking the game. It only hurts it….a lot.

It doesn’t matter what time I posted. The game has been in a state of constant problems since launch, being as such, they should have people working around the clock on fixing the major issues. Being as such, anyone on their end can take the 2 to 3 minutes required to keep us informed. There is no excuse for the lack of communications on their end.

The reason people complain is due to lack of information. People don’t like to be kept in the dark, especially when they spent money for the thing they are complaining about. Mind you, even with information as to the problem and what’s being done to fix it, some people will still complain, but the percentage will only be a small fraction of what it is when no information is put out.

You can say that to the people who still haven’t gotten their gold back. Tomorrow I hope I’ll wake up and see some light in the pick up tab, if not, I can easily say I’m beginning to lose confidence.

In most cases, they should be impressed we managed to stress ourselves for this long.

I hope I’ll be able to sell & buy again because I’m not now.

haha are you serious? The TP is THE component of the game for MANY MANY players. It helps them gear. It helps them make money. It serves as one of the few things to do @ 80.

Here’s a thought: if you don’t give a kitten about the TP, why are you replying in a thread about it being down?
