Yep, it has been broken for me for a week. I sent in a bug ticket ingame and never got any sort of reply back. I went into the Bug Section and got no help at all when posting in the right section. So I hope I might be able to get some assistance here.

All I am getting is a grey screen on all the tabs for the BLTP. Below is an attached image of what it looks like, but I’m sure some people here have had the problem. If any of you know of a solution, please post it. Thank you.

Yes! I have this exact problem, I have been playing for a little over 2 weeks, I have never seen what any of the tabs even look like, 24/7 overflow or not. Black Screen, endless little gold loading circle.

I too have sent in a report, never got a reply.

I got some tips from GW2 Guru forums but none of the fixes worked for me whatsoever. I have no firewalls whatsoever.

Everyone I talk to says theirs work just fine…

i had the same problem but disabling my firewall fixed it o.O

Tried my firewall, but still nothing working. I wouldn’t disable my firewall anyways. Don’t like taking unneccessary risks

apparently running it as administrator fixed the problem for me

Running windows 7, but is this an issue that has been brought up or already noticed by Arenanet, Cole?

Even if it’s to tell us sorry, you’re SOL and we can’t/don’t plan on doing anything. Obviously a “we’re working on it and you’ll get everything back soon” would be much more satisfying!

Edit: Actually the links given by Tyler are also about fixing the root certificate problem. My solution is just a different way of doing the same thing. It is independant of your version of Windows though.

I had the same problem during the last BWE, and I posted my solution here but of course it has been erased since.
I did a lot of research (because I really wanted to have the TP working for the release) and I managed to pin down the issue to a security certificate problem.

Here is what worked for me:
- Open Internet Explorer (even if you don’t like it ) and go to http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx
- Search for KB931125
- Download the relevant package for your system (for instance Update for Root Certificates for Windows 7 [April 2012] (KB931125) )
- Execute it on your computer.
Note : There is no message saying it executed, so it might looks like nothing happened, but it installed the certificates.
