Was trying to buy some Elder Wood Logs for crafting. Kept getting an error message (there was a couple logs appearing and disappearing, on a cheaper sell order), and it looked like the game didn’t want to register my purchase if the total amount of money kept changing between when I refreshed the screen to when I pressed the buy button.

Kept at this for a few moment, scratched my head and muttered curses. I checked that no money had been lost, and there really were no items waiting to be retrieved from the Trading Post representative. Then suddenly… a lot of gold is gone and I have TONS of the blasted things, ready to be retrieved.

I was not a happy camper – that was way more of the things than I intended to buy, and a lot of gold down the drain. If the game tells me no purchase was made due to an error, I expect that no money will go flying outta the window when the game suddenly changes its mind a few minutes later.

I suppose nothing can to be done to resolve a bug of this sort after the fact? Still have the items on the representative, waiting for pick-up.

I’ve been getting this more frequently as well.

I’ve started going under the assumption that when I press the “Buy” button, the transaction will go, and has gone, through.

I made the same mistake as you the first couple of times buying far more than what I needed. Luckily…..I ended up needing the extras as well, so it saved me going back to the TP again.

I would suggest you just press the button once and give it more time to register the transaction….even if you get the error.

Yep, getting the same issue lately. TP is slower than ever for me now buying or selling. The best is when you sell something (it goes away) then you get an error on the sale, and are left with no item and no money for it. I’m sure they will sort it out, but until then I’m not going to be using the TP much.
