Below is 2 screens I got when I tried to use the trading post, 1st one said I must log in with the word “login” being clickable so I clicked it and got the second screen (I highlighted with mouse to make the words visible.).

I’ve had this it’s really annoying..

you need to completely shut down gw2 then reopen, should fix it..

I think this bug comes from being in the mists for extended periods of time.. or thats what it looked like to me..

question? do you spend alot of time in the mists? and did you try using the TP while in the mists? cus that might be the cause..

same problem here, since last night !
and no, i’m rarely in the mists.

Are you sure it doesn’t have something to do with you running the Mac Beta client?

yeah I got that the other day after completing a fotm run, I just had to restart gw2.

Problem solved after starting the game without the options in the shortcut

Same issue. PC, spent a total of 5 minutes in the mists since I started.

let me gess people whent afk for a longer period of time and then came back without logging all the way out(not just charector selction screen)

i added in the shortcut target "-nopatchui -email …. -password …. " to have the overlay of mumble, and when i launch without this options i have the trading post !

The trading post is a web page, sometimes it loses it’s cookie that says you’re logged in and can’t seem to refresh itself so your only course of action is to shut down the entire client and restart, thus forcing you to login and get a new cookie.

They need to fix this. Also, due to it’s use of a poorly optimized backend cdn type infrastructure, it can’t seem to cache any of the assets either causing a massive amount of bandwidth waste for them.
