Will there be any improvements on the trading system using the web browser, other then just being able to view items, I would like to be able to sell and buy without having to log in to the client, but just via a web browser would be awesome.

Yep that would be awesome! I did hear a rumour that this would eventually be in development

Considering most of the trading post is already just a website displayed within your game client, I can see this happen.

People said, before the game was launched, that ANet would create a Mobile App (iOS and Android) for this sort of things. Dunno if its true or not.

I hope this won’t happen, if the AH is use able via a normal web browser, automated tools well easily scan it and relist items. Thus destroying the economy totally

You can already have automated tools that scan the TP. It all goes over standard web ports 443 and simply requires a cookie. How do you think gw2tp.com works?

I think the web browers shop would be a great thing Like the Black Cloud Market on Aion.
But I also think that ArenaNet is more concern about various haters that want to hack, exploit and destroy the guildwars 2 system.
Perhaps in time there could be at least an App for your android to scope out whats on the market.
