Are your items in Invisable Bags ?!

If so, then its finally working as it should.

i am having the same issue. bought a few items on trading post (they showed up with an ! in the Pickup tab (something new)

Can’t sell those items. I don’t have any invisible bags, something wrong with trading post?

I can’t sell items on Trading post since FoV patch. I just get an empty “Sell your stuff” screen. I have normal bags (not invisible). Tried logging multiple times. Running Windows 7 64 bit. This used to work in prior builds.

Also not keen on this “forum” method of logging issues. No acknowledgement or status updates. A ticketing system could be better from a customer services angle.

I’m having the same problem, when I go to sell nothing appears as if the screen is endlessly loading. When I try to buy stuff the buy button is grayed out and will not let me click it when I have enough for the item. Also it will not let me hover over items to see the properties nothing shows up this has been a continuous problem for me since day one.

Yes please can we get someone to fix this issue? Like Collin I have also experienced this issue nearly every time I’ve tried to use the BLTC after it’s initial hiccups.

Those of you who see nothing at the “sell your stuff” tab, try running the game as Administrator. I had the same problem and hopefully by doing that it was fixed

Hi Maluk, thanks for the tip but that doesn’t work for me. I’ve set it to “run as administrator” for all users in the properties of the .exe file (and I even right click and choose “run as administrator” on top of that). Still can’t sell anything (and I got a precursor drop from the Karka chest last night – lucky me!)

Black Lion is broken, again. How many complaints do you need before you attempt a fix? Can’t you fix it or won’t you fix it? Works for some, doesn’t work for others, this isn’t considered in anyway to be working as it should, it plainly isn’t, is it?
Are you even considering a fix or are you doing as you have done since day one, ignore the complaints with the glib statement “Black lion Trading is working as intended”?
Will we even get a response to this?

Today i had that i couldnt sell or buy anything on the TP.
The sell tab remained empty, and for buying, the items buy button remained grey (and couldnt be clicked on)

I restarted GW2, that actually helped for me.

Like other users have mentioned, this happens to me periodically. I usually close the client and my web browser, then relaunch Guild Wars, and it’s back up and running.

Absolutely. And to clarify, coming to the forums is always a great place to start with these kinds of issues, since a solution may have already been found by other users or devs. If searching the forums yields no results, you can post a thread yourself and get the issue some exposure. And if no one offers you a solution quickly, you can then submit a Customer Support ticket. Sometimes a dev may ask you to file one. This sometimes helps because it allows us to have a more direct line of communication with you while eliminating variables.

There is no perfect way to get a solution to your problem, but your best bet is to get as much exposure as possible after searching the forums for a solution.

Are you guys using custom shortcuts to launch the game? I noticed I am not able to sell anything if I launch the game using my custom shortcut for the Mumble overlay. But if I use the default shortcut I am able to sell on the trading post. My custom shortcut uses the -email -password -nopatchui commands.

This is definately a problem. I haven’t had the game for more than a couple of weeks, and am generally satisfied with it. I have attempted to use the trading post only twice…. once my first day, and now once today. On my first day I was able to browse through endless amounts of items and gear. Of course, being a new toon there wasn’t much that intrested me to buy at that time. Selling did not seem a worth while endeavor, as I could not sell for less than the vender price, (makes perfect sense), and the offers to buy WERE less than the vender price. To make matters worse, the lowest selling price would grant me a single copper more than selling to a vender. That did not make sense as I would be charged a fee to sell, therefore actually selling under the vendor price…lol. Blah blah, getting long winded…. anyway, today attempted to open the trading post to buy some gems, and have the aforementioned ERROR: invalid authorization. I have seen mention of Mumble and other programs, none of which I have. I don’t run anything but GW2. I have seen mention that running as admin works for some, it does not for me. (Also don’t really see how that changes in-game content… I doubt the programmers created a line that says, “Trading Post accessable to Admins Only!”) I want to see the trading post fixed and am submitting a ticket as I type here, screenshot and all, however, other than getting some gems once in a while, I don’t see the value of its use at this time.
Sorry I took up so much space, tried to be thorough, threw in some opinion…personal experience…blah blah… I am my father’s son after all… lol =]

While in-game, search on your computer with file name: awesomium_process.exe, this is the trading post’s exe file in GW2, and you must let it through your Firewall, or just set the Firewall off completely. (In my case, I browsed the exe file in AVG and set it, now it works like miracle)

I’m having this problem as well. I reported it as a bug and am going to restart to see if it fixes it. I have no firewall, so the problem is completely on GW2. This is the first time it’s ever happened though, and if restarting fixes it, like people in threads have said it does, it doesn’t really bother me.

I was this problem too, it seems that it was caused by the Awesomium.exe .
Try closing the process ,after that close your client and re-open it.
Yesterday I formated my PC and I no longer get this problem, but before that I was closing awesomium and TP was working after I restarted the client.

This still is not working for me and hasn’t for quite awhile and any suggested fixes have proven useless.

After a bit of googling I found a site that had two suggestions. One was to delete the local.dat file in your gw2 folder, which does work. Unfortunately it also clears your saved log in name and pw , and a few other settings.
The other was to download and run some script they had. Not even considering doing that…
I don’t have to delete my local.dat file every time, but at least once a week. It would be nice to see a real fix.
