This is great and all but I won’t buy it as a consumable. However I’d pay 2500 for a permanent version. I’m wondering if there are any plans for a permanent reset item?

Also how many of you would pay for one? How much?

I don’t think I would buy it. If I did, it would have to be pretty cheap. It only costs 4s to reset the points. Granted, it’s a QoL item, but 2500 seems WAY to high considering a proportionate ROI with things like the unlimited tools. Maybe 600 gems or something would be more along the lines of value.

Of course, I don’t really ever reset my points, but I am just one person. :P

I main a condition Necro and having unlimited uses on this thing would help me out so much in dungeons and fractals on bosses. I guess it’s more relevant for some classes.

there are permanent black lion contracts that let you change hair style, summon a merchant, access your bank and access the TP. these come from black lion chest and are on the trading post for roughly 200g ea, give or take. a much simpler solution would be to have a trait resetter that you can carry like the salvage kit, but you still dump the silver into the machine every time you reset traits.

Not a bad idea. Would be similar to the copper fed salvage-o-matic. Maybe it costs 600-800 gems and everytime you want to reset, it costs “x” amount of silver to do so.

That’s a good idea, having it cost the same as a retraining from the trainer. Maybe in the future?

I would only buy this if we were allowed to save builds in the form of templates. I rarely ever switch traits because it’s just too much of a hassle and generally 1 build is the best for all pve content.

I used to carry adept manuals around to change my traits at will. It was a little bit more expensive than going to a trainer, but I’m sad to see that replaced by a gem-item. Just a money grabber for something that used to cost a couple silver

People asked for build templates and this is arenanets solution to it? To charge the players real money or hours of grinded gold to change your build anytime. Right! They can go kitten themselves
