Let’s say I bought the Magitech Medium Armor skin and apply it onto my Exotic Berserker gear now…

A few months later, Ascended armor is released and I want to transmute Ascended Armor into my Magitech skin.

Is it possible to use the Transmutation Stone to copy the Magitech skin on my current Exotic Armor and combine it with the Ascended stats from my ascended armor?

Yes. You’ll lose the exotic armor in the process, but you’ll end up with the Magitech skin on the ascended armor.

Well, technically, you’d have to use a Transmutation Crystal, since it’s probably a safe bet that ascended armor will be level 80.
