I’d read that an unlimited use logging axe was coming to the Gem Store with this patch, but have not found it there. Has anyone heard more about this?

I noticed that. Maybe there’s an issue with animation like with the sickle. I hope it comes soon.

Me too! That was the whole reason I bought gems lol.

I made the mistake of posting “want the new unlimited logging axe!” in guild chat, and someone thought I was offering to gift it. Now I feel obligated, all because I didn’t type “I” at the beginning of the statement. That’ll teach me.

Dang, just got an answer from Regina Buenaobra, “As I said on Twitter, the axe isn’t available at the moment, but it will be in the store in the future.”

We’ll have real-life jet packs “in the future” too. I wonder how long the delay will be. Thanks for the update.

I was just coming on here to ask about this. Dang that was the main thing I was wanting from the store with the update. Hopefully soon isn’t no.

Man I was so looking forward to assailing the trees across Tyria. Now I’ve gotta wait and satiate my frustrations by killing that Troll in Queensdale a few hundred more times…

Well, this answered my question. I am ready to buy a minimum of 3 of these logging axes when they become available.

I ran out of ori axes on three characters last night. I didn’t buy any new ones because I thought this would be coming out this patch. I’ll do everyone a favor and buy new ones, so 5 minutes later they can add an emergency patch to add them. You’re welcome! :P

If the Picks/Sickles are anything to go by, I imagine the axes will come in another week or two, near the end of the Sky Pirates content.

Yeah hopefully not to much longer. Wish they wouldn’t of put it up on the website if they weren’t releasing it with the other content :/ but at least we know it will be here one day

So the e-mail I got says “You can also pick up the brand-new Chop-It-All Logging Axe, presented by The Consortium.” So why the misinformation?

Not sure, maybe they had some problem with the animation or something and needed to tune it up. I like to think that would be the case and it won’t take too long to get it back up and running and put in the gem store

As convenience items, they are great and I too am looking forward to the axe. They are also profitable for Anet. As convenience and profit should never end in the game, I vote for making all the unlimited use items permanent in the BLTC.

Yes, the axe doesn’t appear to be a Monday (or 7/1) axe. I’m hoping it will be a Tuesday axe and preferably the 7/2 version of Tuesday. But, it will no doubt arrive at the appointed time.

Yea not today, maybe on the 5th with final installment? All I know is I want it and they need to let us know whats up if its not on the 5th. Again speculation.
