Guild Wars 2

I just dropped this staff a few minutes ago. My guildmate and I are in an argument over it. He’s convinced it’s rare, I think that nobody wants it, because otherwise it would be listed, right?

What should I do with this? It called the “Pillar of Ulgoth”.

non listed items dont mean that no one wants it. an item will have no listings if no one is selling it. (you cant have buy orders up unless there are ways to find the item on the trade post. Which there arent until someone puts up a sell order)

Its possibly quite rare.

The skin is the same as the karma only staff Modniir Quarterstaff. It seems pretty rare, there’s no listing history at all, but it seems like a fairly typical Carrion exotic staff which goes for around 3G. I don’t know that the skin makes it much more valuable because it is available from a karma vendor.

Probably just started dropping from big chests (probably the harathi hinterlands one). I’d peg it somewhere from 10g-15g for the short term since it is new and rare atm, but I expect it to fall to around 3g to 5g relatively soon.

My GF being using it for months

she got it at really low lvl and kept the skin (cause it matched her Sylvari colors).

Never saw it again as a high lvl item.
