I don’t remember where I got this from, probably fractals. It’s an exotic “Warhorn”, yet it uses the skin of a Shiverpeak or Norn Warhorn. I’m sure it’s not soulbound because I could send it to another character, yet I can’t sell it on the TP. Is it bugged or something?

Exotics from fractal chests are all Acount bound. Exotics from fractal critters are not.

I’m not high enough up the progression to have seen fractal weapons yet, but I understand they are acount bound, so I’m guessing they only drop from chests, and not just critters.

^They drop from the daily chest and are accountbound and have no stats. They are basically skins that still require you to use a fine transmutation stone.

Another possibility is that you may have transmuted the item and forgotten it, since you mentioned that it uses a non-default skin. Just an idea.

The non-named exotic weapons/armor from fractals are all account bound (stuff named sword, warhorn, trident, etc). Just salvage it if you can’t use it or save it for an alt.

items that share skins with karma vendors like cultural or from orr temples are not sell-able and always account bound for that reason.

Fractal Boss Chest Exotics are account bound. It’ s total BS I know. Do not vendor or salvage it though. Wait until you have 4 account bound Exotic Weapon or Armor pieces and throw them into the Mystic Forge. You’re guaranteed a non- account bound Exotic in return. A precursor if you’re lucky .

Look at the item, and it should say “Account Bound” at the bottom.

This means that the item is… bound to your account!
