OK same thing is starting to happen to me I used my CC debit card fine for the whole of 2-3 weeks now all the sudden no matter what card I use it has error but, bank says they are not declining or even receiving attempted transactions. The only explanation is someone is going through and picking accounts to block from making more Gem purchases. Do you not want our MONEY any longer? I love the game so much but, the constant issues with trying to enjoy the game is getting really old. Is there going to be a point in which the BLTC will work consistently as intended or should we expect this for a few months to come? The message says “contact customer support” but, the turn around is not acceptable. Unless there is a reason for a customers account to be blocked like this it is very incompetent on the part of Arenanet or NCSoft.com who is actually doing these transactions. Now I can not even use Paypal…I have spent 600.00 on Gems there is nothing that I have done to deserve to be blocked from making Gem Purchases… this is unacceptable.

Holy crap! $600 on gems?!! Dang, wish I had that kind of disposable income.

Anyway, I too am being blocked from buying gems (first purchase and only $50, lol). I made sure it wasn’t being blocked by my CC company first and still couldn’t complete the transaction. Not a happy camper. Went to support form to submit help request and got a notice that the gem store was down for maintenance and figure that’s the issue. Do we have any info at all that this is actually the case since I do not get a “down for maintenance” message on the gem purchasing page – which, I would think I should if this is indeed true.

The company has resolved my issue and made me very happy and feel valued as a player. I am collecting colors and mini’s on several characters on two accounts so you can see that it can get expensive fast. The duplication of minis and colors makes it thus. The satisfaction I get though from looking at my hero page and seeing 200+ colors makes me happy. I have gotten 32 out of the 54 minis. The Legendary must be as hard as winning the lottery though because 900.00+ into it we have yet to score a legendary mini which is a little disappointing. I wonder if they have been added to game even as of now. I sure hope I don’t find out later that they are not even attainable at the time I am trying for them.
