I know that this type of thread has previously been in this area, however, it hasn’t gotten any attention for some time. As such, I am posting a new thread to “bump” the topic and make it known that some of us are still waiting, patiently waiting, for some updates on being able to sell our Tonics!

Jason King has previously kept us players up to date on the topic, however, we haven’t heard anything from him or any other devs for little more than 3 months. I understand that A-Net is quite busy with new content, account issues, finding ways to make the game better, fixing bugs, etc etc. But I am just asking for some updates.

The item in question was put in the game by the devs and, unfortunately, was screwed up, such that it was unsellable by those who have no interest or care for tonics and their usage. And we, being caring members of the Guild Wars community want to share our Endless Tonic-ness with our fellow players. Since mailing is not available with them (Because I would mail mine since I really have no need to have it or desire for it), we seek to sell it on the oh-so wonderful Black Lion Trading Post. However, this is bugged. The Tonics are unsellable. One may only “Use” or “Destroy” the item.

Once again, I ask for an update from anyone at all who knows the progress of this bug and if A-Net even remembers that some players have this issue! I also invite my fellow players with this issue to post here, make you voice heard, so that the devs know that we are still waiting on them. As said previously we have been quite patient. We’ve waited almost 2/3 of the year for a fix! And if I am the only one with this concern and the only one waiting, then please pass this post by, as it is of no value to help one player when there are so many other issues and objectives to attend to.

I’ve been waiting for many, many months. These babies sell for 300g and mine (one of the first obtained in the Halloween event), cannot be sold!

I am starting to think that ArenaNet just doesn’t give a kitten .

To keep their worth up at 300g (assuming they ever fix is), you’ll have to sell quite quickly. The flood of the tonics should be alright, granted, there shouldn’t be thousands, but a few hundred is my bet of what is floating around out there.

But as I said in the parentheses, this is assuming they will fix it. Which is where I completely agree with you, they don’t give a crap. And to be honest, I can see why not. Why pay a few chaps to work for a while re-writing some code, only for the benefit of a very small percentage of all players? I hate that fact, but it is true and logical in such a large game.
