So it’s already expensive, but what is the point of offering a deal on a bundle of 5 if you can’t even extract a full runeset with it? There are 6 pcs of armor and therefore 6 runes, so you’d have to spend 1100 gems for 5 and then an extra 250 gems for the 6th. Right now it’s cheaper to just blow gold to buy another rune set than it is to even convert gold to gems to buy the extractors. They are irrelevant.

I think the only rational use for them seems to be to extract one of the karma/gold/exp/MF Laurel inscriptions from a utility amulet.

Upgrade Extractor either needs a drastic reduction in costs or perhaps move it from gemstore to the Laurel merchant as a reward item.

agree with both above. these will only be bought by stupid people….so its basically exploiting the dumb.

Duplicate thread. Go post in the one that already exists. That being said, the upgrade extractor is pointless for runes and sigils because of how cheap they are. On the other hand, they’re extremely useful with infusions in Ascended gear that can reach in excess of 2-10 times the price of the extractor.
