Just looking for some opinions on whether or not I should use my last BL claim ticket on another Aetherblade skin now before they jump up to 5 tickets or if I should save it. Do we know for sure that these tickets will be usable on the next lot of skins or am I taking a punt here?
Aetherized skin, and it’s your call. Do you like them or not really?
Well I’ve already got the 2 I was after so if I were to get another one it would be to save and sell.. But I’m just trying see if anyone knows if the BL tickets are good for future skin sets or just this current one?
I’d personally buy a sword/rifle/pistol skin to sell later down the road. I think they did mention them being used for future skins though, so not sure. Up to you :P
Certain weapon skills will be available through these tickets. Depending on the success of this method in the near future, they may scrap it or continue it.
Ok cool, thanks for the advice
Nobody knows, but considering the price of the skins will bump up to 5 tickets, the gold price of the skins will probably go up by a factor of 5 too.
I would check the TP which skin has the highest price now and claim as many of those skins as I have tickets, then sell them off after a while when the price has gone through the roof.
If you don’t like these skins or you don’t think any of the skins will sell well in the future.
I would save.
If you have no other skins left that you want, check the TP, see which is understocked but in demand and buy and sell that one maybe? I wouldn’t bother saving since one ticket out of 5 (once they go up in price) won’t save you an inordinate amount of time.
Use now…Like you said, right now you can trade them 1:1. But will change soon to 5:1.
As far as I know we have no guarantees that future skins will again be 1:1.

I would imagine future skins will be 1:1 for a promotional time period (a couple weeks or a month), then the price will rise, pretty much exactly like the Aetherblade skins. That seems the best approach, since people won’t be very happy if they have to spend 5 tickets on brand new skins.
The idea of the prices is probably to introduce them and have them be somewhat readily available at first, then raise the price. This makes the skins somewhat limited-time (you have a limited time to get them for a reasonable price) without making them 100% time-restricted. It still creates a rush to get the new skins ASAP, without completely locking people out of them if they don’t.
But that’s all conjecture, of course. The "safest’ course of action would be to buy a skin now, that’d be the only way to guarantee you’ll get a skin for 1 ticket. Saving it for the future would be gambling to an extent, but I think there’s a pretty decent chance it’d pay off personally.
Those skins are hideous.
