Anyone know why they’re at 31c? I bought some as a longterm speculation but they’ve just kept going up, and they are the most useless item ever currently.

They don’t seem to be used in anything that anyone would make, the new content doesn’t seem to touch them and an endless stream come in from multiple daily invasions.

Perplexity runes use 250 for each rune, so 1500 for a full set of runes.

There is a bunch of runes/sigils that need sprockets and the supply seems to be finally dwindling despite Scarlet invasions. That or someone expects great things from next patch -puts on tin foil hat-. After what happened with Candy Corn I personally have no idea what to think anymore about the event restricted mats.

Part of it could be anticipation for the ascended armor. Those recipes are much cheaper to use for leveling vs the alternative.

Thats not true.

The recipes for runes and sigils that require Sprockets arent the cheapest to make because if you craft the Ori Ingot, the Ecto and the Lodestone without the 250 Sprockets, you craft a different Rune/Sigil of the same tier.

Do those rune/sigils sell for what they cost to make or more or do you make them for a loss? I chose to make the sprocket sigils to craft up because in the end I made money off of them and leveled. I guess to each his own but if I can level and not lose money I chose to go that route.

Few people bother to do the Scarlet invasions anymore, so I imagine it’s a combination of slowly drying up supply and needing 6 × 250 Sprockets for a full rune set that’s consuming the supply.

Last I looked perplex runes were for a loss or very minimal gain (price of ectos contributed to that). Back when perplex runes first came out and everyone was getting them as news of them being op was spreading I was crafting them by the hundreds, made a pretty good chunk of change. Having them be so op kinda made me feel like an illegal arms dealer lol XD
