If every player dumped his 2500 sprockets on the TP they wouldn’t be. Even as easy as it is to use, many players don’t use the TP at all.
I have 180k. 7 Mules on all slots and 3 bankguilds are a good thing.

Yeah, they seem to have shot up in price. You used to get the same money for just vendoring them. Of course people have probably hoarded zillions, plus they are not that useful, so I cannot see them staying high.

You need 250 of them for the new runes and sigils. At the moment the supply is just ridiculously high with the Gauntlet and Invasion events. I would wager the price will go even higher from tomorrow on when the supply plummets.

The price is just going upright now because speculators buy loads of them and people use them to get class gear boxes.
As the class gear boxes wont be available anymore after the patch, that sprocket sink will be gone.
