What would you pay for Mjolnir?
And there has never been one on the TP.
Why oh why would you make it only to sell it?
Mjolnir deserves better.
Do you even lift, bro?
I plan on keeping it, Im just curious what it could sell for
Calculate the cost to make it, then add a 200-400g premium.
Don’t overprice it (like +2kg) because it’s very easy to make if you have the gold (compared to legendaries when you have a lot of time-consuming steps)

The question you need to ask yourself is why would someone buy a more expensive completed thing if they can buy the components for cheaper and throw them in the mystic forge themselves? This is why people who tried to make profit off of Volcanus early on ended up getting the shaft and got heavily undercut (I cannot say how many actually made money off of that because I’m not John Smith). If you seriously want to sell it, I think the best thing you can do is add in 15% due to the TP tax and then estimate what the demand is for the item and up the price based on what you feasibly think you can sell it at. You do not want to get undercut with such a big item.
I wouldn’t sell it unless you’ve really decided you don’t want it.
If you can put it up for profit after clearing the 15% tax while still having it at a price people will pay, it isn’t going to be profitable for much at all.
It cost 1200 to make you say. Lets say you put it up for 1500 (which is still only 1275 back to you after the tax). It’s easy to make, the only side stuff being used is the skill points. Why would someone buy it for 1500 when they could just buy the mats themselves, level up artificing themselves if they don’t have it already for a couple g and make their own gift of lightning? The rest is just a forge recipe.
What’s more likely to happen is you put it up, the entry is now biddable, and after people start putting in buy orders others will make it and undercut you.
This isn’t like buying a legendary off the TP where you’re opting to spend extra gold in place of something meaningful (a million karma, hundreds of skill points, 500 WvW tokens, gift of exploration, 500 dungeon tokens etc).
Here we’re talking about you asking someone to pay a few hundred g extra just to not bother leveling artificing and spending 50 skill points.
Could it sell anyway? Well it’s the first one apparently, maybe. And if people don’t bother considering how to make it at all. I would figure people looking to spend 1500g on a vanity hammer are at least relatively competent with money though, enough to consider what it costs to make it themselves. If they do, there’s no way they’re buying it.
Too much risk for not enough gain. Keep it.

I think Im going to. Thanks for the help
I do personally think it looks way cooler than Juggernaut. If I were to get an end-game hammer, I’d totally get Mjolnir.

Wrong wrong WRONG.
Not really, it’s your personal opinion. But the way the Juggernaut affects the color of your armor is AMAZING and really underappreciated I feel.
I love Juggernaut’s effects, but I don’t like the hammer itself. That’s where, I feel, Mjolnir really shines.
I kinda wish they put the lightning effect with a better base skin.
I prefer my Norn with juggernaut. Metallic effect looks awsome on t3.
I wouldn’t buy Mjolnir. Like any crafted item, its cheaper to make it myself unless the seller is willing to take a (huge) loss.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

I personally think it’s the coolest looking weapon in the whole game. If it had the body effects of Bolt and the legendary icon on the character screen, I’d already have it.
Its friggin Mjölner.
If it wasn’t so friggin’ hard to get, moreso than Juggernaut, I’d get one.
For sure.
