Idk for real probably like 25g a day, if you play like 4 hours. Thats doing the champ rotation in FSG, really boring stuff.

Farming for gold can get you allot per day.. but the only thing that costs allot of gold and requires this in this game is the Legionaries.. better to play for fun and go for ascended weapons that will be much more accessible.

8 or 50g a day with the latest champ loot update depending on drop luck. ( 4 hours )

As a player who straddles the border between casual and hardcore, any day I log off where my bank balance was higher than it was yesterday is a good day.

It depends on the player, the time invested, and what they do with said time.

Flipping is a good way to make money but you got to know what to flip and when to flip it.

For example (omg, somebody sharing secrets? Get out of town!) yesterday, I logged in to see the update content and the legendary changes. Naturally, the first thing I did was go onto to the TP to see their prices.

I decided to place a buy order for 2 bards at roughly 110g a piece, and then I flipped both of them for about 199g a piece. I made about 120g off the whole deal in about 2 hours. Would I do it now? Hell no. The price has stabilized and all the people causing inflation have finally settled down.

Like I said, the answer to your question is dependent on the player.

Just curious on how much is a decent amount to make in a day, not hardcore type flipping or raiding, etc.

A “decent” amount is however much you make to stay comfortable buying things in game with gold and still have fun doing it – if you are talking about being able to buy gems then that is another can of worms entirely. You can always go hardcore trader and make a fortune but if you are going to put that much effort in to trading stuff then you may as well go for a job on Wall St and make real money.

When we had anchorage I was making 40g on week days. Made 100G on a Sunday
Now with invasions I’m at least 10G on weekdays, though I never sell my ectos so it could be higher.
Weekdays I farm for about 4 hours.

Its always better to ask about gold per hour instead per day, since you can make a lot more if you play 10+ hours than someone who only plays an hour per day.

At the moment i can make around 5-6 gold with harvesting wood and herbs. Changes from patch to patch a little.

dungeons can get around 10g/day
farming can get upwards of 10g/hour
TP flipping is less predictable, but I’ve sometimes got around 100g/day with the right purchases. better to give in terms of gold/week, because some things take longer to sell. I make about 200g/week.

minimum wage is $7.25/hr before taxes which is about 21.5g
even after the average 25% cut from taxes its ~16g/hr

You are playing a game, since when does that = a job? Do you need to make better than minimum wage in order to enjoy the game or make it worth your time? Seems silly to even consider it that way. This is and should be a hobby, at least for most of us.

Also your minimum wage is really low. That is a little sad.

Thats federal minimum, and I agree its an embarrasment to this country but thats just the way it is.

I’m just showing that people who farm stuff they don’t enjoy are really wasting their time. If it makes you happy by all means knock yourself out.

That is a fair point, about wasting time doing an activity like this unless you really enjoy it.

As an alternative; what is a better way to spend that time farming? Or is there another activity that I am missing? TP? I am rather terrible at playing that.
