For the other Trading Post merchants out there at one point during a flip that didn’t sell do you cut your losses? I tried flipping about 40G worth of various mats last week, but was immediately undercut and the cost has continued to drop. At what point or after how much time do you cut your losses get your gold back and get back to investing.

As it stands right now. I have two options.
1. Leave the goods on the Trading Post in hopes of them selling. (The longer they stay there the less gold I have to work with to flip other materials.)

2. Remove the listing and post at a lower listing losing out on any potential gold. I may have made. But giving me more gold to reinvest in the market.

So I ask you fellow flippers at one point in a flip do you feel is necessary to cut your losses get your gold back and start flipping again?

Fortune favors the bold.

When I get tired of waiting – and I am impatient, so this costs me frequently.

What you SHOULD do – which I never have the patience to do myself – is wait it out till the weekend (when the prices go up) at least. Don’t cut losses mid-week unless it’s utterly hopeless (like the suckier Supply Bag mats, which have glutted big time).

I do Option 2 above WAYYYY too early because I want to keep trading.
