Because repair canisters are still useful. The only thing they’re changing about repairs is that they’ll be free. Your armor will still get damaged and you’ll still need to specifically talk to armor repair NPCs to fix it.

Repair canisters are more for the convenience of repairing on the go anywhere than saving money. And that functionality is remaining the same.

because you can still use them!

i never needed them because of the gold cost… it was more because of the use in instances or areas where no repair npc is

means fractals / dungeons / obsidian sanctum or other wvw areas

useful after 1 hour obsidian sanctum chaotic fun fights if you can just repair and go on ^^

Repair canisters are nice in fractals. Anywhere else they’re not really used cause an armor fixer is always somewhere around the corner.
