Iam no marketing or economics expert but wouldnt it be better if you left those items on the shop permanently so people would have more options in the trading post? Also this limited time only trend has to stop. Its pretty stressful for people that collect stuff.

Actually it is smarter to have them labeled as limited, since that would mean people will rush to buy them while they are available.
People that want to get them will get them fast anyway.

Yeah but down the line think of all the people that would want to add that something extra to an alt of theirs (like the quiver) and they wont be able to.

Limited time items are meant to convince those who would have purchased those items later (or on the edge of purchasing) to purchase them now.

TBH, they’d get even more money if they made these limited time items tradeable.

You could purchase extras. The living story content and limited items are prestige items, when these arcs disappear so does the chance to obtain those aspects of tyrias (and GW2’s) history. That is kind of the point of living world content, people who experience it now before its gone get to enjoy the rewards of doing so.
