I’m attempting to buy gems at the TP, I tried using both “New Credit Card” and “PayPal,” but neither would let me get to the point to “purchase” the gems. With the PayPal option, it wouldn’t let me click on “Proceed to PayPal” and with the credit card option, it wouldn’t like me “Purchase.”

Why?!?!

you have to wait around 20 seconds and it’ll appear, it’s so you read what it says and not just skip it.

Hmm good to know i thought it was only me i phoned my CC to see if it was them but it is not so i know its at GW2 end somehow.

If you try the purchase several times in a row, even if unsuccessful, the system will lock, and prevent you from making a gem purchase. It happened to me today and I sent a support ticket. I got a response back withing 15 minutes and my account had been unlocked and I could make the purchase.

Not saying that’s your problem, but just food for thought.

My first attempt at buying gems via the Trading Post and it wouldn’t let me. I waited for minutes, not seconds and nothing happened. The buttons remained greyed-out.

Today, retried after reading this thread. After 5 minutes, still unable to proceed to PayPal.
