So, after the recent thing about banning bots and such (and indeed I haven’t seen one these few days), prices of rares, ectoplasms and T6 materials have gone up.

But strangely enough, prices on all minerals, wood and ingredients have being going down.
Mithril is down to 25c, Elder Wood Log is 22c.

Now, it’s just a guess, but I think the bots are still botting… but for gathering only.
Instead of standing still attacking or running in circles attacking stuff, which is easy to detect and report, they’re going around the maps teleporting from node to node.

I’ve seen this happen about… 5 times so far, the first ones I thought “must be a new bug”, but it’s becoming more and more frequently.
Since I run around maps mostly gathering, when I’m near a node I see a player appearing, mining/cutting, and then disappearing right after.

Thoughts?

Chokepoint on the cost of rares to throw in the forge for precursores changed from elder wood/mithril (before bots got banned) to T5 mats afterwards. T5 mats went up, mithril/wood weren’t the chokepoint and went down.
Most of the bots are gone, although I’m sure that not all of them have been banned yet.

You’ve also got to remember that all the players who bought the game after launch have now sauntered their way into Orr, along with all the casual players from launch. They are all mining and gathering too and selling on the TP.

With the rise in price on T5 and T6 crafting materials, the relevant T5 and T6 crafting markets have become very narrow, so the number of people crafting for resale has fallen off sharply, with reduced crafting demand the demand for ori/gossamer/silk/wood has fallen with it.
