Why is superior divinity so much more?
DragonBrand – [Agg] Aggression
Because someone thinks it’s good, apparently. It’s a pretty over-hyped rune that people like to use since they don’t want to think about the math involved, I guess.
Its strange I would think major would be atleast 1/10th the price ya know? Like generosity is. It’s always baffled me to be honest.

It’s the best rune in game.
It’s the best rune in game.

There are builds that like being well-rounded all-weather heroes ready for anything.
Then there are builds that do dirty nasty underhanded game-twisting tricksy evil.
The fewer people who understand a build, the less the runes/sigils for it cost .
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Divinity runes also cannot be crafted.
I never got the Hype about Divinity runes and always thought that the superior version was ridiculously over priced. The only thing good about it is the Crit Damage but I can get that on much cheaper runes.
“…let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we shall die;.”
It’s quite simple if you think about it.
Superior runes will generally give you 35 stats per rune on average, plus a 6th-rune bonus, or 27,5 stats per rune on average and a bunch of minor bonuses.
Orbs will usually give you 48 stats per orb. A ruby orb will give you 34 stats plus 2% critical damage per orb.
Divinity runes will give you 60 stats plus 2% critical damage per rune.
I believe it is quite clear why they cost as much as they do.
As to why the major divinity runes cost so much less… well, a rune or sigil that gives you some unique passive or something like + % condition duration is always useful. And, due to the internal cooldowns, a major on-crit sigil is often effectively the same as a superior one.
An upgrade component that only provides raw stats, on the other hand, is only good when it provides the best stats. So, only superior raw stat upgrade components are worth anything.
It can also be a supply side issue. Superior Rune of Divinity has the 2nd fewest copies up for sale on the Superior Rune market (200 in a range of 150-3200). Major Rune of Divinity has plenty available (1500 in a range of 90-4000).
How many runes are on the market from crafting Vs salvaging?
