I was under the impression that the Black Lion Trading Company was going to bring back the limited time items that they sold over the past year back to the gem store.

So, I went in-game to find out what was in the store.. I saw the kitten, and ignored it because I read that there was supposed to be weapon skins..

I didn’t read it completely though, and missed the part that The Black Lion Weapon Specialist infact actually had the items I was looking for.

Okay, fine. No problem, I mean, its not like the wintersday weapon skins have been in his options for the past month or so right?

Oh wait, yes they have. I clearly remember seeing them in a tab from that guy. So then, one would expect them to be on sale maybe? I mean, if you are going to promote the items that were already accessible, surely they should be on sale. Right?

Okay, so why is this being promoted? They were already 5 tickets before. Why not just sell them, again, in the kitten gem store? I was going to buy them with gems, but 5 claim tickets is like trying to win the lottery.

I just.. Idk.. Tell me I’m not alone on this; assuming that it was going to be in the gem store.. =[

It’s a gem store sale in that you can buy the keys to open the chests to get the tickets to get the skins. So, yeah, not. :P

You’re wrong, they costed 1x Winter’s Weapon Claim Ticket before which could be obtained through Wintersday Mystery Boxes. I kinda like the new price because the skin will be still rare.

Now that I recall, you are right. It still doesn’t change the fact that they said they were bringing items back to the gem store.

They were a bit misleading, I assumed the weapons would be in the gem store again and not the merchant.

I find this interesting because it suggests that weapon skins as going to be RNG from now on.

It’s one of those good but cheesy moves that A-Net played.

They are bringing items back to the store. The kitten was yesterday, and today is the molten pick. Tomorrow is either the axe or sickle. They are just not the items you wanted, I’m not sure whats misleading about this at all.

Time to start opening those BLCs…..NOT.
