… can we expect a raise in the price of the ingredients of gift of fortune and gift of metal? while I know not a lot of people chase legendaries every day, obsidian shards will become a little bit more common, and since they don’t have any other purpose than to create legendaries with, I’m guessing the price of precursors and materials will rise one way or another.

There’s a purpose for them besides legendaries: ascended crafting.

yes but you don’t need 500 of them to craft a single ascended

And you don’t get 500 from the new sources.

I’m unsure of the rate that people will be getting Obsidian shards.

But hypothetically if you could get obsidian shards at a high rate…

-Ecto price would rise
-T6 prices would fall
-Mystic Coins would rise slightly

All because of mystic clover gambling for gold.

new sources of obsidian shards give at most 5-10 / day (I’m picturing 2-6 hours). you could get more doing two underleveled fractal runs. hardly market-breaking
