Your favorite dyes?
My favorite is definitely heirloom. It’s the darkest red in the game and there’s a lot it can go well with.
I adore oil slick on leathers.

Oxblood, Wrath, Peanut Butter (surprisingly), Antique Gold, Root, and Midnight Ice are my tops.
Abyss, Celestial, Cyanide, Turquoise, Redemption, Illumination, Brick, Molten

All the golden hues seem to grab me for almost all my alts. I lucked into Perseverance last night and have no idea which of me will get it (though it seems close enough to Gold to go for the somewhat less expensive shade for alts). Also deep greens such as Evening Grass, vibrant blues like Blue Rose … pretty much anything that isn’t washed out and helps pop out texture detail.
Moss is a must have for any alt, it’s such a lovely off-green. My darker skinned alts can handle oranger shades. I do use Celestial/White for accents, and Abyss as well, but those tend to kill detail so they usually don’t do well as primary fields.
Abyss, Mahogany, Midnight Fire, Molten, Oxblood, Antique Gold, Pitch, Adobe Sunset
Whatever matches with Eternity (which is hard)

+1 heirloom is my fav as well. It can have such a wide range of colors depending on what part of armor it goes on. Anywhere from very near black to different shades of red to oranges to gold.
Try it out on the light crafted exotic armor and you’ll see what I mean.

Spitfire is another excellent one; just like Heirloom it can have a wide range of colour, though instead of dark it’s more leaning towards orange.
Rust, Umber, Brass, Butterscotch, Clove are great to match up for an autumn coloured set. Autumn and Evening Red and Tangerine also go with that nicely.
Blue Rose is so vibrant, that colour can inspire a whole set; it goes very well with Burnished Steel if you’re using it on heavy armour. Ocean is also a blue colour that looks great in that way.
For heavy armour, Silver, Icing and Cinders look great. Armour lining or embellishments often stand out awesomely with Gold, Illumination or Redemption.
Blue Ice is a great looking bright white colour, a great alternative to the ridiculously expensive (and in my opinion too saturated) Celestial.
Cobalt has this awesome almost metallic/silk/maaagic sheen when used on some armours, notably the cloth part of the Norn T1 heavy chest armour.
Burgundy and Evening Red look very stately on long cloth, perfect for fine and noble-looking gowns.
A combination of Bronze and Antique Bronze will look stunning on a lot of Norn armour sets, especially when you go for a Jora inspired look as seen in some artwork.
I think I can go on for some time if unchecked, so I’d better stop now.^^
My main characters are all light armor and Flame Dye is by far best looking on light armor in my opinion. I have it on 3 characters.
For me, any dye that’s light pink-ish and light lavender-ish~
Chibi Asura San (Engineer), Hikaru Masai (Guardian), Selene Minerva (Revenant)

I have a different dye scheme for each of my characters to make them feel distinct, so I can’t really say I have a “favorite”.
I do have 3 characters that use at least some shade of green, so I suppose that would be my most used color, but even then each character uses a different shade (Mesmer uses Algae for maximum brightness and flair, Ranger uses Midnight Yew or Emerald depending on how said colors look on armor, Yew being a bit too dark on some, and Sylvari Guardian uses basic Green or lighter colors like Mint or Spring).
