But their armor designers are working so hard adding flame textures to old sets. They clearly need 10 USD/ use.

Actually, i would prefer buying an expansion with new skills, new armors skins , new weapon skins and new pvp mod like Guild Wars 1, over using the gem shop.

Yeah, there seems to be a lack of armor skins, like cultural, dungeon armors, karma armors, and the whole named pve sets from mobs….

I pick expansions every 6 months – 1 year, like in Guild Wars 1. You know, expansions that actually added things in the game without removing them after 2 weeks.

I’d rather wait a whole year with 0 new content and pay 60$ for a new expansion with tons of different new armors, dungeons and real new content.

I know those feels, friend. I’m in the half hour doldrums that happens on light-medium work days before I go home, and I can’t find pictures anywhere. Too afraid to troll the tumblr Guild Wars 2 tags for fear of spoilers that I can’t unsee.

They aren’t in the gemstore yet. Items always take a while to show up in the gemstore after an update.

Honestly people how many sets can you wear at any given time anyway!? I don’t know which game, or who/where it was ever said that MMO’s HAVE to periodically bring in new wep/armour skins. Even having 7 alts and my main I can’t see myself using ALL of what was made available at the start of the game. Mind you I understand how most of what there are does not look so great, but still…

That’s just a preview of one on a beefy norn. Unlike Lurock, I’ll reserve my judgment until I can see how each set looks like, on both genders and all races.

Its not in the Gemstore yet. It always takes a while (sometimes an hour or two) before the new stuff shows up in the Gemstore once an update goes live.

All the new armor sets are only available in the gem store, that’s the problem.

I have seen how they look on both genders and all races…..its horrible….

Anybody have a pic of these new armors? I have zodiac weapon sets with my warrior and a spare 400 gems from the 10k AP reward so might be a good match.

You can preview the armor in the pvp lockers.

You could look at in the sPvP locker…

And yes..that blue is rather horrifying…

It might show up in the store in 2 minutes when the daily resets. Odd that they would have it on a timer to become available like other items that are released at scheduled times instead of immediately available with the new update.

I will only say that : people were offended by the groping hand on the heavy arah armor. Let’s see how they react to all 3 new armor sets.

Based on the description of the items on the link I posted above, the whole point was to make the armors distinct and very different from existing armors.

Whether you personally like them or not, I think its mission successful as far as that goes.

It doesn’t even matter that the new set isn’t all that grat looking, it’s a matter of principle.

For a game that revolves around “cosmetics”, it seems a bit ridiculous that ANet hasn’t added in additional armor sets outside of the gem store after over a year since release. More unique skins for WvW would be appreciated… hint hint.

For those of you who buy gemstore armor, what do you do with them when you get a new skin? Do you overwrite the old skin, losing it forever? Or get a new piece of armor for the new skin so as to keep the old skin in reserve? If you do the latter, what about if you have Ascended armor?

So… ugh… why did they change this…. to look horrible?

The whole blue skin thing puts me off

I already thought the CoE light armor set was bad with that much cleavage, but this is just… even prostitutes would think of this armor as too revealing
