Why is it possible to put buy orders lower or equal to vendor price, if nobody can sell lower than vendor price?

anyone else find it annoying, when all the buy orders are lower than vendor?

They fixed that a year or so ago, so you cant put in buy orders lower than vendor value now. Those buy orders that still exist, were posted before the fix.

However, there were some reports that some items glitched out and you COULD put in buy orders lower than vendor value.

a couple months ago I was buying leek on the TP for 3c then selling it to a merchant for 7c. you couldn’t place buy orders below 8c, but people were able to list it below that, and they just kept undercutting each other. only ever bought like 20 of them, but it was too funny not to spend a few minutes doing it.

ah, so basically it’s orders that were never removed. Was wondering, it seemed odd. Thanks for explaining
