What do you think the chances are of these using the gifts that are already available in game- Like gift of color, entertainment, ect? I was thinking about holding on to things in the gifts in case they are needed in a future legendary .. but maybe they might be something new all together?

I would hope so, but who’s to say what gift would be used for what legendary.

They also hinted at possible legendary armor (maybe even trinkets), based on the wording in the “looking ahead 2013” blog post back in June, so there are more options to use more gifts.

I don’t remember the source, but I saw a dev comment that of all the things that have yet to be released from the blog post (new skills/traits, ascended armor, precursor crafting, new legendaries/other types of legendary gear, and maybe one or two other things I can’t remember off the top of my head) precursor crafting and the new legendaries are most likely not going to make it this year. (Could have also been worded, “if we don’t get everything done, those two are going to get cut first.”) So you may need to wait a little longer than expected to find an answer.

yeah I saw that post as well.. I guess I might as well hang on to them then :P I would think that making the gifts have more purposes would be better than coming up with a whole new one.. but who knows!
