is character slot expansion going on sale in the near future?

we dont know and pretty much have know way of knowging it unless a person from anet say it will or will not

Character slots have gone on sale several times, so I expect that they will again. I bought one the last time for 640 instead of 800 gems, a 20% discount. That was over four months ago, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they went on sale during the anniversary celebration that begins at the end of the month.

Have anyone observing is there’s a rotation of promotions or it’s random?

As far as I know, character slots have only been on sale twice: once after New Year’s and again some time in June, I think. Based on that if you wanted to make any speculations it’s about 6 months between sales.

Unless they do a sale for their 1 year anniversary then you’re possibly looking at December/January for the next one.

I originally bought extra character slots because I thought they’d never go on sale. The first time that happened, I missed it, and I’ve never bought another one because I’ve been waiting for them to go on sale again. For me, the sales are counter-productive because it makes me wait for them to happen again – and in this case, I’ve apparently missed them twice. Same thing with bank slots: I’ll never buy another one unless it’s on sale. When you can only buy so many of something for your entire account, there isn’t much sense in paying full price.

Lol i totally just bought one. I’m so dumb haha. I’m not even using it right now.

I’m waiting for bank slots again.

Maybe Gem Store promotions are subject to RNG?
