So I noticed the amount of these claws dropped really low and are now really high priced…

Why is everyone buying these at such a high rate? I did not notice any of the other t3 materials going up this high.

And now there are over 100 being listed and the price went back to normal… that was weird.

bleh… idk how you can keep up with the trading post. I was going to buy a midnight fire dye that was listed at around 7 gold the other day but now it is 17 :c

No wonder why the Legendaries cost 2000+ gold!! :P i think we need some price fixing!! just saying

Guys whats happening is people are stocking up on T6 Mats so when acceded gear drops. They can sell the items for inflated pricing or they can craft on the spot at cheaper prices

That’s not what happened here. What happened is someone with alot of gold bought all of the available Vicious claws from the market, and then re-listed them at a higher price in order to make a huge profit. Its a common trading post tactic.

Also, if you need these claws, do not buy them, transmute them from T5 claws. Otherwise, you’re paying up to 40% more for them…

How do you transmute them?

An odd choice since anet has apparently disabled the forge recipe to make the ‘choose your stats’ ascended back item so there goes a big use of claws right there.

More likely someone needed 250 for a legendary and didn’t know any better.

You need 250 of them for the gift of might. Beyond that the only other two major uses were Yakington’s book/the quiver of a thousand arrows and the Stygian Blade sword.

I guess maybe people use them for flame legion potions but I feel like if you run CoF enough you probably have the tokens to just buy them.
