I now see that the consortium chest items are being dropped by karkas. Is this only true In the wake of the lost shore event or will it continue to stay like that ? I was under the impression that the lost shore minis aind skins were a one time only deal, so I bought a few extra for an investment .

I think that everything that is now in the game, will stay in the game.

But rest assured, these drops are EXTREMELY rare, they will not influence your price.

But it’s not true, there other events items from the weekend were removed, but the Consortium Chest, which should be removed like everything else, was not.. which has made a potentially exclusive item into more commonplace junk, and yet another thing Anet has done to drive me away from enjoying this game that I am trying so hard to stay enthusiastic about.

This may just be an oversight and potentially removed once they catch up with it…

If not, then it’s still not too much of a worry for now. Until more content is added to the new zone, there isn’t a lot of reason for people to go there, and even those that do would have a very slim chance of getting a Consortium chest. So this isn’t going to increase the supply of minis and skins by a significant amount.

Personally, I commend ANet for keeping the chest as a drop, albiet EXTREMELY RARE. For those of us who participated, but were for one reason or another unable to complete the one-time event and thus lost out on the end chest, we will at least have a possibility of a consortium chest. I am now looking forward to being able to get back to that island and kick some Karka kitten
