Honestly it’s overrated as a costume.
If you like to play as the mad king, then that’s a cool gimmick (And awesome on a Charr), but the costume pieces cannot be mixed and matched. Plus if you disable the headpiece, you are still stuck with the oversized shoulders which means that you wolnt look right.

I disable the helm for my norn. Looked fine to me. It is more nostalgic for me from years of playing guild wars 1 and the pumpkin king showing up every halloween. Good times! I’m happy with my purchase.

I love the Mad King costume, myself. It’s the only costume I bought before they could be used as combat armor.
