Until there is more use for home instance, it’s just not really something worth buying outside of the novelty of it.

It’s to access your home instance gathering Nodes, silly….Merchs are available via other means (for NO cost).

And the irony of it all is that you have to buy the gathering nodes separately…
800 gems for 3 trees.
800 gems for 3 mining nodes.
900 gems for ONE home instance stone to split between all characters.

I would have to agree with Cephus, that it is wrong to have no way to sell in some of the home instance. I would have never bought it if I where playing any other character besides human. I will now have to make sure that any new characters that I make will have the same options as the ones I have now.

If they are going to sell gem store items targeted towards the home instances then the instances have to have equivalent services. Back before they had any new items to add to the instances no one went there, so no one cared if one race had nothing and another race had several NPCs that provided services.

If someone only has Asuran characters then they are being shortchanged and not getting full value of this gem store item as compared to the other races.

It’s an easy fix for ANet. Just give each instance the same set of NPCs.

Send them a ticket asking for a refund on the item because the design is deficient, they they might start listening to you.

Otherwise, I agree that this has no place on the forums and the answer should’ve been “we’ll look into it”. Unfortunately, gw2 support has a bad track record that is not improving.

Correction. It is to access the Home Instance. Gathering Nodes is something done once there. In which case, everyone has the afforded opportunity to acquire said nodes. But, as i have already stated. Selling to a merchant is not an afforded opportunity for everyone.

Of course it is….go to WvW and return for FREE! EVERYONE can do this.

I agree that to address this, ask for a refund from Support….that might get them to “correct” it.

You don’t have to buy any of the mining nodes….I haven’t spent a gem on them.

I sense the Asuran Home Instance upgrade kit coming soon in the Gemstore.

There is a vendor in the Asuran home instance but they can’t reach it; it’s too high.

This is not an issue where Support can help unless you want a refund on the purchase of this stone. The people reviewing your ticket are not developers and can’t add a vendor to the asuran home instance.

Your assesment of the internal issue of Anet’s support doesn’t change the fact that Anet Support can’t fix the Asura Home instance. Put in a in-game bug report for one (the home issue) and / or ask for a refund for the item from Support.

Pretty simple. One way you wait for a change, the other you go back to the way you played before you even knew this item existed.

You don’t need a 900g item for that….Enter your home Server WvW Borderland (free) Merchants, Trainer, Crafting stations & BL not too far away. Then go to the main keep (free) banks and Mystic Forge available. When thru, open WvW menu and select LEAVE WVW button in lower right to go back to exactly where you started.

If you just want to go to LA (no direct return), enter Heart of the Mist (PvP) and go thru Lions Arch portal.

Actually, without spending any gold or $$ on gems, you can/could have Quartz Crystal Formation, Candy Corn Node, Watchwork Sprocket, and, iirc, Krait Obelisk Shard (Skill Point for level 10+, mainly intended for charging QC).
