please allow us to sell bloodstone dust
Build Mawdrey II.
It costs 2000 Bloodstone Dust and once you built it, you can feed it 50-250 bloodstone dust per day in exchange for other loot.
You can also buy a recipe for the toxic nourishments and craft them, that also yields profit.

why the focus on bloodstone? I have more of the other 2 than bloodstone. at least bloodstone had a use (before mawdrey); why did they make mawdrey only take bloodstone??? If she ate all 3 it would of been perfect.

I ran out of bloodstone dust while crafting mawdrey (i also crafted 5 sets of ascended armor and weapons already), so i went to EotM this week to farm. It looks like i get far more dragonite and shards there as well.
I think the reason why many people have more dust than the other two is that they are still from champ trains, while they were popular. Also, before ascended mats got introduced, people farmed champ bags by the stacks to open them after the release, so they started out with thousands of dust already.

But… But… I don’t wanna make this item. Is the recipe you’re talking about obtained from dry top? Is it limited by profession?
Toxic maintanence oil, sharpening stone, crystal are in trade post. They are getting limited and expensive (8g if memory serves). However every time you make 5 of them (it’s made per 5) you make a little profit. There is no garantee this profit will sustain though.

With the extra sink of mowdrey for dust, i would hazard a guess that profit margins for toxic nourishments will get bigger in the future. The recipes for oils and crystals are still around 5-7g, while the stone recipes is at 18g already.

Between the reduction in quantity from boxes and the additional sinks I find that bloodstone dust is noticeably less common than the other ascended materials.
You can really tell from these posts who is spending a lot of time doing open world champion farming, as that’s the only activity I can think of that gives more bloodstone than the other materials.
Personally I’d like to see Mawdrey eat all three materials, as the three are now pretty well balanced and you’ll wind up with excess of one material or another depending on your specific play pattern.
I far prefer the current system of having too much b-dust, empty frags, or dragonite. It’s easier to delete extra stuff than it is to be forced to farm because it’s hard to get enough, as is the situation (for me) with Dark Matter.

I’m more concerned about the Toxic spore sample. People will stop farming it as it’s time consuming and not so rewarding (atm). They might go 7-15 silver, while ‘toxic oil/stone/etc’ users will not want to pay 40-50 silver for the consumable (at least i think). We’ll see.

For completion’s sake, I hope that Mawdrey (or another item) also gets the ability to consume excess Empyreal and Dragonite in the future.
Better idea: forge it with thick leather to make Silk instead.

Mawdrey is nice, but it’s still barely putting a dent into my Bloodstone supply, and does nothing about Dragonite. It needs to eat more.
you spend complaining about it on the forums, you’d be
done by now.”
Send me your Dragonite!
Send me your Dragonite!
I would if I could! If they made Dragonite non-bound I would send people tons of it just to get it off my hands. I have about 40K units of it, maybe more. I also have about a dozen fossilized insects I have no purpose for.

Well, it seems there will be a new Ambrite Weapon Collector achievement (the reward for which is an Ascended armor chest), so maybe those Fossils will have a use now? (I’m glad I didn’t trade mine for 3 lousy Sandy Bags of Loot each!)
Mawdrey II is good but its so slow, dont know why we cant just dump all our dust in him right away….

Hmm, I suppose I need to save up for some more recipes. I’ve already crafted at least half of them. One thing I don’t like about the new collections (as I understand them at least) is that you need to 100% them. I hate 100% collections in most cases. To me, achievements and collections should reward at around 5% or less, and while it still tracks the rest if you want to continue, you don’t have to get the remainder to max out on the rewards. With 100% rewards you always end up with those 2-3 things that are a serious pain to score.

Craft toxic consumables is WAY more profitable…
I don’t know how it happened that people like that thing so much, since its really just waste of time and money.
Basically it throws you few greens and blues. It’s like killing few veterans who will throw you some greens and blues and you could do a lot more just by crafting toxic shapeling stones or 2 other consumables and selling them on TP for like 15-30s each.

I got a Giant’s Eye out of one. I also got a few rares, some salvage items, a bunch of mats, etc. I’m waiting for one of those “scientific” breakdowns but you’d need a huge sample size.
Also keep in mind that not everyone picked up the recipes for the toxic stuff during the events, and purchasing them on the TP nowawdays would take selling hundreds of them to recoup your losses.

I forgot those are no longer buyable.
I guess it means I’m in a good position now.
But really thats the best way to use bloodstone now days.
I threw out about 5k dust when it was super plentiful then started converting it to bricks. Whenever I reach 200 I always make a brick. Same thing with dragonite and empyreals. If it keeps building up I might have to start on making vision crystals
I only made a couple dozen bricks in total, I didn’t want to pay money to make bricks I couldn’t use, and few recipes use bricks. I know you can break them down again, but that’s a lossy process.
I’ve also been getting a lot more Empyreals with the buried chests, but still nowhere close to as many of those as either of the other two, so even if I could find a use for a hundred Vision Crystals I wouldn’t be able to spread the resources in perfect 1:1:1 ratio.

Just realized that lesser vision crystals are also “tradeable” right now by crafting Heat Stones. about 1g for a lesser vision crystal, 2g if you get the lodestones on buy order.
It was also confirmed that one new achievement is to use all 6 of the lvl 80 nourishments so we can expect a demand spike on the toxic ones.
