It’s rather annoying. Please fix it, or remove it if it isn’t a bug. Instead of spending 3 minutes clicking sell for all my crafting goods I no longer need, it takes me over 15 minutes because of the error message and having to flip between tabs or close and reopen and waiting for it to stop showing error. Thanks.

It isn’t a bug. It appears when you list around 5-8 different things (or the same thing, but different stacks) within a minute. It’s to prevent botting/excessive listings in a time frame.

And the quote for that is where? Your given reason is just speculation of players. There is exists no patch note or statement from Anet about this bug. Other than someone asking in forums a long time ago to get examples of it, when it first appeared.

Bot prevention would be a poor excuse, since they have infinite patience and could just be programmed to wait more in between sells.

Just as bot prevention is also pure speculation. Would it be better with a message “Database Timeout” or some Apache web server error?

Remove it, explain it, or tell us it’s top secret. Pretty please.

I am more and more starting to believe that this error is a psychological experiment above the pay grade of everyone at Anet that they are forced to conduct at the behest of a government agency with classified agendas and convoluted practices, who was actually discretely controlled by a small group of hair stylists out of Nebraska with the intent to influence the potato price. because they like potatoes.
