I have a ranger and I am planning to get the t3 armor.

I was wondering what cheap armor I should get before starting my quest for the expensive t3 armor. I don’t like looking terrible.

This is what I use. It’s the Leather Coat. That’s literally what it’s called. It has a flap in the back so that the tail clipping isn’t quite as obvious.

I found that with the right mix of colours T1 doesn’t look to me so bad.
I use T2 too.
The lvl 40’s Leather coat with half clippin issue as Nayukhuut said.

I literally hate tail clippin, i don’t like how stretched are some armor pieces on charr.
I would close an eye bout tail clippin only for the Cof chest, speakin of dung.
Priory chest has not tail clippin issues tou personally i really dislike the design.

Another decent option for mediums is the high level Duelist coat. No tail clipping, not terribly expensive (a few gold on the TP) and takes dark dyes really well.

I also wear the Leather Coat (level 40s Coarse Leather crafted) but I do it primarily for lore reasons more than its looks.
