Battle Roar and Charr Warriors

The emotes of battle roar really fit the Charr. Unfortunately, most warriors would use “For Great Justice!” over battle roar for its superior boons. I suggest, for Charr warriors, to have an option to remove the emote of “For Great Justice” and switch it with Battle Roar, keeping the boons and range of “For Great Justice” but with the emotes of Battle Roar, or vice versa, unless you have both skills equipped. This would reduce the amount of times you have to hear “For Great Justice!” on the battlefield and allow some diversity (This would be disabled for PvP of course).

I like the idea, but why disabled in pvp? I think having in it pvp would make it cool as well. They should just add more sfx to FGJ like roars, or growls.

I just wish they’d taken the shouts in that direction to begin with, and given each one a few lines per race.
The correct solution is to add around 2 extra saying for each shout for each race, the Charr FGJ just being their Battle Roar copied over, and have it randomly cycle the 3 depending on environmental factors (namely other Warriors/Guardians around using shouts).
If they can do it for elementalist attunements, why not shouts too?

The only thing I’d like changed on battle roar is the line “Remember Ascalon!” which to me has never made much sense for a Charr to shout, especially when teamed up with humans, among others. Makes my charr sound like a total kitten when he says that with a human fighting beside him.

Ascalon was home of charr long before humans came for landgrab like they always do.
They should have put up fences like the Tengu did :P

Yes, but as Rytlock says in Ascalon Catacoumbs, “the humans pushed us out and built Ascalon ontop of it.” This says Ascalon is the name for the human kingdom, the Charr would have their own name for the region.
Really, For Great Justice has gotten so stale and boring at this point of GW2’s history that they really should consider each race getting their own. Like Norns going “For the Spirits!” or something, while Asura go… I dunno…. Humans could call out to Balthazar, their god of war.
