Guild Wars 2

I have been around a lot, going to many different NPCs, using gw2db to link helmets for preview, looking at culturals T1~3, for the best Charr helmet.

I can’t decide, I don’t know what looks best.

So I shall ask the mass, what’s the best guys? Post your best looking Heavy helmets here!

I like the T3 helm, reminds me of Evangelion.

But i wouldn’t ever wear it. I like not showing my helm.

The vigil helm is probably my favorite. But you see every heavy vigil NPC wearing it…still looks nice and shows your ears/horns.

Xemnes: I love the T3 too! But there is a bit of clipping, and TBH, it is a little ‘mainstream’. It is cool but almost every 10 Charrs I see, 1 dons it.

Leo: I have that on one of my suits, but I need another now haha!

It is highly ironic but I sorta like the Ascalonian Catacombs heavy helm on Charr.

Vigil without a doubt. None of the others come even close. Its mean looking in a very conventional sense, rather than the silly over the top variants or those that look like flattened hats on their heads.

Sidenote to the above: AC heavy helmet is horrible. Its so ugly. It look more like a hardened leather helmet or something, not made of metal.

Cultural t3.
A lot of the other ones look terrible.

I really like the CM helm on my charr

I’m using cultural T2 myself and it looks great IMO

lol. That was exactly the first thing that came to mind when I previewed it ages ago. It just seemed so familiar somehow…

I personally can’t stand the Cultural Heavy armours on charr. One looks like a warthog, one looks like a cage and tier 3 just doesn’t look practical and is too clippy.

WTF… that is disturbing. It reminds me of the weird black monster with the mask for a face, that goes around eating everyone in that one anime film I forget the name of…

Still we don’t have many good full helmets as the cultural have some issues (t2 skin removal effect anyone?) as for t1 and t3 I don’t wan to look like a krogan or EVE :P

Oh god that’s terrible! Laughably so! Also, the Durmand Priory helmet isn’t half bad. Too bad it hides your horns though.

So many recommendations, haha!

Up till now, I have not purchased a single Helmet to transmute. I am using a Draconic but its hidden.

… I am beginning to think I will never get one…

Do you guys think they’ll add more helmets? I am so unsure ATM. Checking out the link by Sojourner though.

T3 on my warrior main (full T3 set actually) – and hiding helms on my other heavy alts.

Yeah, that helmet is freaky looking on a charr.

Movie = Spirited Away?

Ah yeah that’s what it was.

T3 and the gw1 gemstore skin one and maybe cof is the only heavy helm i’d show on a charr but I also think charr T3 is the best looking helm in the game, bonus points for the lower part of it moving with the lower jaw aswell.

You have nearly the exact same colours and colour scheme as me :o

On topic, I like T2 (picture). T3 comes and goes with me, i’ve never seen it on another player though so it might look better outside of the preview.

The Vigil Helm is my favorite for my Charr as it gives the whole Roman/Spartan look to my armor set.
