Q:
Blood Legion Dye Colors
I found Scarlet seems to be pretty close.
However there are some in LA that seem to be a more darker/rustier Red? but i presumed that was due to shade in the area, and it not affecting my character.
Trying to also work out what they use for Iron Legion.
I use Oxblood and Nightshade personally, with Silver spikes on my T1 Heavy cultural.
It’s definitely not perfect, but it appears as if it’s a shinier, newer set of armor. As if my Warrior only recently received it, and is more than eager to break it in. Or ruined his old armor (yet again), and had to get a new set
As for any Iron Legion Charr players that wander in: My Engineer’s T1 medium cultural uses Iron + Silver Lead with or Ivory accessories (matches her hair and horns) Fog is a better match. You can use Stone or Matte too.
I actually had no idea how similar my engineer looked to the Iron Legion standard until I stood next to a merchant from Iron Legion. I just figured, Iron + greyer/white colors.
For the toast!
Wrath seems to be a good match for the red, with Fluff on the spikes. Used that on my Charr warrior with T1 cultural
I’m currently on Brick/Heirloom Red with Matte. Looks close enough and anyway very nice.
There is a Lifeblood dye (which I use, actually) and a Blood dye. Perhaps it’s one of them?
My Necromancer is from blood legion. I imagine them to be dressed something like this:
Color scheme is Midinght Ice and Blood.
Well i’m using Blood red and Graphite color.I think it is quite good looking.

I think there are multiple shades of red used for Blood Legion. It could just be lighting differences making me think that, but I swear I’ve seen them using dark reds, medium reds, and even a few that use almost pink (think there’s a couple of those around the guild area in Black Citadel).
I’m almost certain there are indeed multiple shades too. I’ve noticed the nearly pink guards in the Citadel and Lion’s Arch as well.
Likewise, I’ve noticed Iron Legion soldiers with a dark secondary color (close to Pitch or Grey), after Iron, and others with a much lighter one. (Like Fog)
For the toast!
I am certain that for the T1 heavy armor it’s Blood, Ash and Celestial for the spikes.
I’m partial to using Blood and Gunmetal though Silver and Steel work as well.
the correct Armor Dye’s are “Blood Dye” “Ash Dye” and “Celestial Dye” i hope this will help you all out:)
