I love the charr style but I just don’t like the idea that they are honoring a gonverment and war like this so much! Is there a way to be a gladium charr? I plan to never use warband as an elite skill either…

Technically I don’t think so, although I suppose if you never did any of the personal storyline after the instance you appear inside of, your character would be sort of in limbo with regards to having a warband or not.

Even so, enemy NPCs aren’t going to make that distinction, so to avoid involvement in said war you’d have to keep to areas with no Flame Legion.

I thought the flame Legion was enemies of everyone? Since even as a Norn I could kill them..

They are… but then, it’s the same with everything. What war are you trying to avoid…?

I’ve seen no shortage of roleplayers titling their Charr characters – the Gladium.

Play as you want, it’s a game!

I’ve always held the idea that my Engineer became a gladium of sort – ala Ms. Soulkeeper – after dealing with reassembling her warband, and being assigned to join an order (the Priory).

She simply had bigger better things to do, for the good of not only her own kind, but Tyria.
