I was looking for a Hood head armor for my Charr for a long time, and I’m looking for a hood that doesn’t clip the horns. And now I found it!

Devout helm, can be bought at Merchant Tailor Jibb in Rata Sum

but what I don’t like about this hood is that the ears are showing too, protruding through the hood. A little disappointing.

When will they make decent charr gears? I really hate the idea of horns not showing in most of the head armors.

It is just like some hoods hiding Asura ears.

How does that even make sense? Do you chop off your horns/ears when putting the hood on, and paste them back on when you take it off?

It looks like your ears are ahead of the hood’s edge, so it looks mostly fine. The longer horns would have holes and such, so also fine.
It must be a pain to put the hood on in the first place tho. Or, a very elastic hood tissue.

Didn’t you know? The charr ears are just fancy dress detachable ones. Like their horns :P

Nice hood though, my ele looks so silly with her hood up.

My poor engie charr, with his mask displayed its like looking at my pet cat with a sock on its nose.

What I hate even more are the heavy helmets. My charr doesn’t need horns on the armour, shes got them el natural! So why hide them and replace them.

Maybe they fold them down and clip them with a hair clip XD

Durman Priory light armour hood is good for Charr too, it starts behind the horns and covers the neck.
For medium the Duelist head gear is probably my favorite, or the pirate hat if you want something a bit funnier.
Heavy helmets, it’s hard to beat the Vigil helmet. clean, doesn’t clip ears, teeth or horns and the roman look suits Charr quite well with their legion structured society.

Yep, the hood in the OP is the only one I’ve found that looks good on a charr. The one from the generic dungeon set disables the horns, which is unacceptable, and the Durmand Priory one isn’t even really a hood on a charr, it’s more like a turtleneck.

And, of course, every other light armor option is either a circlet or a mask, which just doesn’t work for me.
