My main is a charr warrior; male.
I played this guy since the first beta.
Yet to find fashionable headgear. Is it a myth? A Legend perhaps? Maybe one day, after the elder dragons are defeated, i will finally accomplish my goal, of finding a Charr helmet that does not look ridiculous.
I get complemented on my characters likeness to Rytlock, but still … I want a helmet man, everyone else gets one

The helmet makers of Tyria have not figured out how to build a helmet for Charr. It is this reason why all my charr characters use cultural helmets. No squished ears or funny dunce look!

I believe the best ones are either CoF or T3 Heavy cultural.
They are somewhat designed for charrs.

Tier 3 heavy cultural, that’s the only decent looking one, imo.

I really like the HotW heavy helmet!

Well, helmets are a preference thing and I don’t like to wear any, but I have still used a transmutation stone on mine to make it look like the vigil helmet that I really like. Else only T3 looks good in a certain way and maybe also the one you can buy in the gem store. T2 is also cool if your fur color is red already, else it looks like your char got a bad rash under his helmet :P

I love the T3 heavy cultural helmet. If ever make a warrior or guardian I’ll make them a Charr just for that.

I like T1 light cultural helmet on female charr and T2 medium one would look OK if it didn’t float off my characters face. (though I maybe alone in this one)

In general the helmets don’t really fit the charr properly though.

I like the Draconic helmet on my charr. It covers the neck which is what too many helmets don’t do, and when dyed steel it looks like I have an extra pair of horns.
T3 as everyone’s mentioned.

Most helmets I find seem shaped as if they’re going around a human shaped head which is often the problem for me. The cheek parts of the helmet should go straight ahead and not curve around the face.

Go to the mists and look at the Scale helm. Makes you look like you have 6 horns, pretty cool, got it on my warrior atm. Dunno the PvE equivalant though

I also played through most of my lvl 80 period with a pit fighter helm!

The CoF light armor helm looks good on a charr.

I think the T2 heavy helm(the iron legion helmet) looks pretty good, however the T1 heavy helm(Blood legion helmet) looks fairly kitten /p>

T3 Cultural is the best IMO. The Draconic helm is at least not bad.

Draconic, T2 and T3 cultural, that gem shop helmet if they fixed the clipping issue (or maybe that isn’t even for all characters, mine had a long jaw), the Iron Marches helmet if you like that weirdo style it has (as in, it’s not ugly, but weird and I don’t like it), and the one you get from WvW (not very interesting, but fits without looking too stupid), which is also available via karma but I forget where now… and the temple karma ones are kinda like the Iron Marches one, in that they’re odd but not inherently bad.

I totally forget the dungeon helmets but they’re easy enough to check anyway.

AC helm. For being a human-ghost-themed armor set, the helm is surprisingly well-adapted to Charr anatomy.

Just craft/buy a heavy Draconic, then transmute if needed to whichever stats, looks awesome as mentioned previously like another set of horns.
