I feel like Charr got the short end of the stick when it comes to armor design. There are but maybe 2 pieces of armor that dont look overly ridiculous when wearing the armor on them, specifically the helmet (speaking of Heavy armor).
Take for example the Armageddon helmet should have a skull on it, but it has this lame look to it and shows the face only. Flame legion armor looks decent but that helmet needs work. I rolled a human guardian to 80 and every armor piece looks substantially better than anything the charr has. Same goes for Norn. Norn wearing heavy armor is superior cosmetically.
Though this may be only opinionated but I know im not alone on this. Charr armor design needs work. I feel like an idiot throwing on a helmet on my Charr warrior and for the most part had it disabled. I had to buy that cosmetic helmet in the Gem Store to even look like i mean business.

Its because all they did with the armor for the char is stretched it out to fit the char frame. A lazy way out and it shows but the legion helm looks amazing on the char but that’s because its cultural armor. I wonder what happened to the char armor artwork we saw before release I want some of those cool looking armor skins instead of the stuff we have now. Also want them to actually look at the char and find a way to make them look good in the armor the whole stretch to fit thing they did with them is very lazy and sloppy.

i think armageddon helm looks better on charr than any other race…
but everytime i see a charr in a CoF helm i shudder; its like they’re ‘puckering up’ for a kiss

Im not a charr myself, but my friend is. He keeps complaining about his shield, and i was like: “Get over it” until i saw it myself…

The shield is basically flying 1 meter behind his back. It doesnt even touch his body in one spot…. Its redicilous

I hope Anet come to charr and looks at the design and make monetary improvements. At this point I would pay money to change my race to a norn or human for my warrior as i have for my guardian. I would gladly pay any reasonable amount of money to do this if this feature was implemented.
